Description of Research
Molecular mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases, particularly arterial biology and pathology (atherosclerosis). Mechanisms of interaction of hemodynamic forces with the vascular endothelium and vascular cell-cell interactions. Experimental approaches ranging from cell and molecular biology, membrane biophysics, to biomechanics andcomputational fluid dynamics. Stent design.
