Description of Research Expertise

My expertise is in light microscopy, with special emphasis on confocal and super-resolution microscopy. My background is in physics and biophysics, specifically using optical methods to probe cellular and molecular dynamics. As Director of the CDB Microscopy Core, I combine these skills with my experience and interest in science education to provide training and imaging services on a variety of cutting-edge commercial microscopes to the Penn research community.
