Welcome to the Office of Decision Support & Analysis Website
The Office of Decision Support and Analysis is responsible for the processes, systems and analysis of Faculty Compensation data. We ensure that the School’s faculty compensation policies and practices are followed, and lead the School’s effort to assist the University in the development of compensation systems and processes.
The Office supports the School in Workday operations through communications and training, manages the School's security role assignment and organizational hierarchy, and serves as liaison with the University central Workday team.
In addition, we perform strategic planning and institutional research activities for the School of Medicine. We support the School's department/center/institute academic planning processes including departmental reviews, three year academic plans and annual reports.
The Office is responsible for analysis of the School's sponsored program activity and space data.
Finally, we develop dashboards that disseminate data and analyses of School and departmental resources and act as a School wide resource for departments and offices on dashboard development.
PSOM Guidelines for Establishing and Maintaining Faculty Records recently updated, effective May 2015
The Guidelines have been revised to include:
- Academic Clinicians—Part-time
- Faculty on approved reduction in duties
- Updated examples
