Michael Soo was a BMB graduate student in the lab. In 2007, Mike graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Chemistry and Political Science. Besides science, Mike likes photography, bonsai, cooking, the Phillies, the Eagles, craft beer, independent music, and vintage workwear. Mike defended his Ph.D. thesis: 'Potentiated Hsp104 variants suppress the toxicity of most overexpressed dosage-sensitive yeast genes' in September 2016.
