Education
He received his degree from Stanford University, and medical degree and Doctor of Philosophy from McGill University. He completed his training in Neurosurgery at the Montreal Neurologic Institute and Fellowship at the CHUV in Lausanne, Switzerland. He is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada. His research interests include novel surgical strategies for the treatment of Parkinson's Disease, Movement Disorders, and Epilepsy. He is presently an assistant professor of neurosurgery at the University of Pennsylvania and associate director of the PADRECC of the Philadelphia VA. He is included in the Castle Connolly Guide of America's Top Doctors, Strathmore's "Who's Who" in America, as well as America's Registry of Outstanding Professionals.
