Virtual Post-Traumatic Epilepsy Research Center

The vision of the PTERC WoW is to transform research in post-traumatic epilepsy by developing an integrated translational research training program by intermingling PhD and clinician-scientists with diverse backgrounds and professional experiences.

Our goals are to provide:

1. State of the science scientific mentoring to diverse PTERC Faculty across the translational science spectrum that accounts for their career stage including integration into PTERC WoW Pilot Projects;
2. Professional development including leadership development, development of mentoring skills for both PTERC Faculty and Career Guides, and research team development and management;
3. Sponsoring PTERC faculty opportunities for community building, networking, and scientific visibility to develop national and international reputations; and
4. Conduct program evaluation to maximize impact of PTERC WoW throughout the program.
