Description of Research Expertise

The focus of my research group is the role of the pulmonary vasculature and right ventricular function in health and disease. We lead or contribute to epidemiologic studies and clinical trials of pulmonary arterial hypertension, hepatopulmonary syndrome, and lung transplantation. Members of our group also focus on congenital heart disease and pulmonary vascular disease in children.
