She is currently a staff physician at the Special Immunology Family Care Center at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where she provides both general pediatric care and HIV-related care.

She is currently Principal Investigator for two NIH R01 awards and an NIH training grant. She has active research collaborations in Botswana, Dominican Republic, and Nigeria. Her studies incorporate mixed-methods approaches and have included large cohort studies, clinical trials, and qualitative research.
