Description of Clinical Expertise
Dr. Genna Waldman is an Assistant Professor in Neurology at the University of Pennsylvania with a clinical expertise reproductive and hormonal health in people with epilepsy. This focus encompasses hormonal interactions with epilepsy and epilepsy treatments as well as a specific focus in people with childbearing potential and epilepsy care during pregnancy. Dr. Waldman collaborates with all divisions within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at University of Pennsylvania to ensure timely and comprehensive care is provided to her patients. Dr. Waldman advocates and participates in local and national committees to provide education and further research in this field, specifically with the EFEPA (Epilepsy Foundation of Eastern Pennsylvania), FOCUS: On Health & Leadership for Woman at PSOM, and Epilepsy in the Childbearing Ages through Menopause (ECAM) Consortium (an international group).Selected Publications
