Description of Clinical Expertise
1b0 Dr. Burns joined the faculty of the division in 2007 as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. She completed her B.A. in Biological Sciences at Rutgers College and received her medical doctorate from UMDNJ Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her residency training at Brown University in Providence, RI and trained as a fellow in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism here at University of Pennsylvania.8
