Welcome to Penn Gold Humanism Honors Society
The Gold Humanism Honor Society is a group of people dedicated to keeping the "care" in healthcare.
GHHS was created in 2002 by the Arnold P. Gold Foundation. There are currently over 25,000 members worldwide, in training and beyond. The Perelman School of Medicine chapter was founded in 2012. Inductees benefit from networking and professional development opportunities as well as special recognition on their ERAS applications.
As an organization stressing the importance of empathy in patient care, we have a variety of programs aimed to improve patient and provider well-being. We also take great pride in our community outreach programs, through which we strive to spend meaningful time with the local population, both within and outside of a medical context.
Welcome to our website! We encourage you to look around, learn more about us, and reach out if you have any questions or ideas.
