Welcome!  The Human Immunology Core offers cell products, specimen processing services, and molecular and cellular immunology assays to basic and translational researchers.  Browse service areas above or find quick information below. 

We are open Monday-Friday 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. except for University-defined holidays.

Cut-Off Times & Shipping/Delivery

  • Cut-Off Times for Cell Product Orders

    For fresh cells, 9:00 a.m. on days the lab isolates cells.  See Cell Products menu for online ordering of fresh or frozen cells.

  • Cut-Off Times - Specimen Processing

    Samples received by the HIC outside our posted cut-off times require approval at least 24 hours in advance of receipt and additional charges will apply:

     

    ** Same-day processing cut off time is 1:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. If you expect samples to arrive in the HIC after 1:00 p.m., and same-day processing is required for your study, this must be pre-approved by Acting Technical Director Dr. Honghong Sun. These samples will incur an after-hours processing fee. 

     

    ** Next-day processing cut off time is 5:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Samples received after 1 p.m., but by or before 5 p.m., will be processed on the next business day.

     

    ** Samples received on Friday between 1:00 and 5:00 p.m. We offer next-day processing on samples received on Friday between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m., by prior arrangement with Honghong Sun. These samples will incur an after-hours processing fee.
