Echocardiography and Stress Laboratory Research

The Perleman Echocardiography Laboratory is a state-of-the-art center with a strong tradition of clinical excellence, research, education and innovation. It is comprised of over twenty Board certified cardiologist and registered cardiac sonographers. 

Staff in the Echocardiography Laboratory has unique expertise and experience in performing transthoracic, stress and transesophageal echocardiography using state-of-the art equipment capable of 2D and 3D imaging, intracavity contrast and strain imaging.  The lab has been digital for over a decade and has image management software that enables database search and offline processing of 3D and strain images.

Research Pricing

$2,000.00 for Initiation/set-up fee (Industry funded study)

(*Fee is to cover physician and sonographer costs related to initiating the study including review of protocol, any training, oversight, qualifying echoes to be performed, and any other requirements for initiation of research study at Penn site).

 Echo staff to attend any training sessions after study initiated (teleconference/webinars, etc.) ($50 per hour)

 Echo staff to provide training to CRC on copying disks ($50 for training)

 Additional time for acquisition / measurements (please send the echo protocol to echo lab) (*Industry Sponsored $75/ 15mins)
