We seek highly motivated students and postdocs to join our research group!
Our research program bridges innovative data science, informatics and ML/AI research and impactful biomedical research for advancing precision medicine and population health. Our lab has developed robust methods and models for integration of complex multimodal health data (such as -omics data, electronic health records data, and imaging data), missing data, causal inference, data privacy (federated learning and differential privacy), algorithmic fairness, and clinical trials. More recently, our research has branched into LLMs, foundation models and agentic AI for biomedicine.
Our research has been supported by NIH, PCORI, NSF, ARPA-H, VA and AHA.
