Overview
The 12th Annual Focus on Neuroendocrine Tumors, a patient and caregiver program is designed to address the personal and medical issues of those whose lives have been affected by neuroendocrine tumors. Gain knowledge and take action by getting important information from our expert speakers. Receive hope and support by networking with others. Attend in-person or virtually from the convenience of your home or office. Network with participants and experts in person or via text or video chat.
Who Should Attend
Newly diagnosed, currently in treatment or long-term survivor of:
- Gastrointestinal Tract NETs including:
- Pancreatic NET (hereditary or sporadic)
- Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (gastrinomas)
- Insulinomas
- Alimentary tract NETs (foregut, midgut or hindgut)
- Functional (carcinoid syndrome)
- Non-functional
- Bronchial, Thymic and Carcinoid in other locations
- Pheochromocytomas and Paragangliomas including hereditary and sporadic forms
- Hereditary Syndromes associated with Neuroendocrine Tumors
Family or caregiver
Learning Objectives
After attending patients and families will be able to:
- Identify the latest advances in neuroendocrine tumor treatment
- Identify strategies for follow-up care related to survivorship and late effects of neuroendocrine tumor treatment
- Demonstrate patient-active behavior in working with the healthcare team to make ongoing treatment decisions
