Overview

This activity is designed to efficiently discuss the most recent clinical advances in oncology. The meeting will address the questions that have emerged from the latest data presented at major international annual meetings. Activity format will provide the opportunity for interaction with Penn Medicine faculty and other attendees. Participants will gain up-to-date, practical information with immediate clinical application, as well as a technical and scientific background on the current state of the field and emerging advances.

Who Should Attend

This activity has been designed for medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists; hematologists and hematology/oncology fellows; oncology nurses and advanced practice providers; and specialists in areas such as radiology, urology, gastroenterology, pulmonology, and dermatology, oncology nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of patients with cancer.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this conference, participants should be able to:

  • Evaluate recent clinical data to optimize the selection of therapies for leukemia, lymphoma, and multiple myeloma.
  • Incorporate evidence-based updates for breast, gastrointestinal, and lung cancers into clinical practice.
  • Identify recent therapeutic advances and evolving standards of care for genitourinary (GU) malignancies.
  • Integrate novel treatment protocols into the management of patients with melanoma.
  • Assess clinical implications of recent advances in neuro-oncology for patient management.
  • Apply scientific updates from international meetings to clinical decision-making and care coordination for oncology patients.
