SSFlex 2
The PMACS Web Team is excited to announce a new release of our Self-Serve Website Service, SSFlex 2. This upgrade includes new updated themes and a set of exciting new features.
What's New?
- There are updated themes, each available in different color schemes including Penn-colored themes.
- The optional announcement feature is now available as a style that can be applied anywhere in your content.
- You can add news, events, and/or publications feeds to any page. These feeds can be formatted as a list or as cards.
- New navigation options were added to better accommodate sites with only a few menu items or sites that would benefit from side navigation.
- There is a new cards template to display information in linked cards.
- The page title on the homepage can now be hidden.
- The homepage can now use any of our feature templates - accordions, personnel, button group, agenda, etc.
- An in-page table of contents is available to help your users navigate long pages.
- No more "Overview" pages! We now have an option to make the container/parent resource a link even when it has child pages.
- The page banner now appears as an automated carousel while still retaining the manual controls needed for usability and accessibility.
- Carousel slide background options include photos with or without the Ken Burns effect, patterned backgrounds, and animated backgrounds with overlaid text and/or buttons.
- You can add a global alert message to appear at the top of all pages within your site.
- The social media quick links and site search can now be placed in the top bar and/or the footer of every page.
- There is a new social media icon available for Bluesky.
- The personnel feature has new layout options to display as a section row, portrait card, or landscape card. There are also new options to display profile photos as rectangles, circles, or squares.
- Additional styles for enlarged text are available to emphasize content.
