The Serper Research Group's Mission

The Serper Research Group is focused on investigating ways of improving the health outcomes of those living with cirrhosis, liver transplant recipients, and their care partners.  We study systemic barriers and behavioral interventions to improve care processes and outcomes. Our team also studies cognitive epidemiology to inform self-management and care optimization. We value collaborative, pragmatic, and patient-centered research that can be easily translated into real-world applications. Through this approach, we aim to help liver patients and loved ones lead their lives to the fullest extent no matter where they are on their journey to better health.
