Overview 

No Stomach for Cancer and Penn's Abramson Cancer Center presents Spotlight on Stomach Cancer symposium which unites the stomach cancer community, medical professionals, and the public for a comprehensive learning experience. Expert researchers, healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers will share insights into stomach cancer – its history, hereditary forms, current treatments, and future advancements. Gain valuable perspectives from presentations and panels on genetic counseling, gastroenterology, surgery, oncology, pathology, and nutrition.

Who Should Attend 

Those who are at risk, newly diagnosed or currently in treatment, and survivors of stomach cancer. Family members, caregivers, advocates, healthcare professionals, and members of the public are strongly encouraged to attend. 

Learning Objectives 

Patients and families will be able to: 

  • Identify the latest advances in stomach cancer treatment 
  • Demonstrate familiarity with the terminology and technical aspects of stomach cancer care 
  • Demonstrate patient-active behavior in working with the healthcare team to make ongoing treatment decisions
