Inpatient clinical activities: Attending on Cardiology Ward Service, Attending on Arrhythmia Consult Service, Attending in Clinical Electrophysiology Laboratory, Cardiac Transplantation Cardiologist (October 1984-September 1987).

Outpatient clinical activities: Attending in Cardiology/Arrhythmia Clinic, Consultant for Sleep-Wake Disorders Center (1988-1991), Cardiac Transplantation Cardiologist (1984-1987).

Description of Research Expertise

Defibrillation and cardioversion; devices for the treatment of arrhythmias (implantable cardioverter-defibrillators, pacemakers); Electrophysiology and treatment of atrial and ventricular arrhythmias (Interventional electrophysiology/ablation, surgical, pharmacologic); Clinical trials in arrhythmia treatment.
