Dr. Dinges conducts studies on human sleep-wake states, circadian pacemaker assessment, neurobehavioral, neuroendocrine and neuroimmune functions, physiological alertness, attention and cognitive functions, sleepiness and fatigue, and EEG power spectral analyses, functional neuroimaging, and the genomics of differential vulnerability to sleep deprivation.
