Katie Critelli was an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania with a dual major in BBB (Biological Basis of Behavior) and music performance. Katie worked in the lab from August 2012 to May 2015. In high school, she conducted a 3-year research project on Alzheimer's Disease, and worked with Dr. Laura Dugan at UCSD to engineer a fullerene-based compound that could act as a neuroprotective agent. In her free time, Katie enjoys playing jazz and classical harp, dancing ballet, and practicing transcendental meditation. She is from Darien, Connecticut.
