Provide PC and MAC support to PMACS faculty and staff that have been onboarded to PMACS.

Basic Science departments are covered.  Institutes and Centers are billed separately depending on if they are Type 1 or Type 2

PMACS provides move related services when a departments operations are relocated on campus. Most department moves include port changes, device disconnects/reconnects, IT consultations and project management services.

PMACS provides onboarding services to all existing and new PSOM departments who would like PMACS IT Support. The process takes several weeks to months and requires a thorough review of the requesting departments data, devices and workflows. All departments not currently supported by PMACS must go through the onboarding process before support can begin.

PMACS provides opportunities for departments to recycle hardware they no longer need. Recyclable items include laptops, desktops, printers, monitors, keyboards, mice, servers, and other personal electronic devices.

Capacity may be restricted by available storage within PMACS space. If there is no capacity, PMACS may ask departments to bring hardware to building loading docks on recycling days that are shared with department business administrators.

All hard drives must be removed from the device prior to removal from Perelman School of Medicine.

Provides support for Pennkey relates issues, including new Pennkey requests, password resets, and guest Pennkeys, 

A PennKey and its associated password are required to access many of Penn's network resources.

A PennKey Setup Code is a temporary identifier used to register a PennKey and password or reset a forgotten PennKey password.
