Besides achieving excellence in scientific research, the other primary goal of the lab to foster a collaborative and stimulating environment, in order to bring out the best potentials of each lab member, to help them build on their own interest, and to pave the way for their career development!
Whether you are looking for a lab for postdoc, for thesis, for rotation or for gaining research experience, or whether your expertise is in genetics, molecular biology or animal models for injury/disease, you would find our lab your home, because here, we learn, work, share and build together!
Upon joining the lab, you and the PI will work together to set the goal and map out the projects that suit your interest best, within the general themes of the lab – neural development, maintenance and function. You can choose from a number of projects already in the wok, or test your own ideas and develop new directions. It is also up to you to choose the mentoring style – more hands on or independent.
It is your accomplishment that leads to the success of the lab!
