Description of Clinical Expertise

Food allergy, Eosinophilic esophagitis, Severe allergy/anaphylaxis

Description of Research Expertise

The Hill Lab uses clinical and epidemiological data to guide mechanistic studies in disease models and human samples. Our work focuses on the two most common chronic diseases of childhood: allergy and obesity. Our wet-lab research falls broadly into the scientific fields of experimental immunology, cell and molecular biology, genomics, and transcriptional regulation. By having in-house expertise in both clinical informatics and traditional wet-lab techniques, we are optimally situated to translate our observations from the clinic, to the bench, and back.
