Description of Itmat Expertise
I am working to better our understanding of the health trajectories after early experiences of adversity, with particular attention to actionable points of intervention. I conduct research projects across the translational spectrum from inflammatory consequences of maltreatment in children to policy and advocacy work to better support families. I have a particular clinical interest in strength based care for children and families impacted by substance use.Selected Publications
