History

The Division of Breast Surgery was established in September 2022 as the 11^th Division within the Penn Department of Surgery. Division Chief Oluwadamilola “Lola” Fayanju, MD, and a team comprised of more than 20 surgeons and APPs provide care at 3 downtown Philadelphia hospitals, the Main Line, Chester County, Lancaster County, and central and southern New Jersey. In the greater Philadelphia area alone, the Division of Breast Surgery sees over 3,000 new patients per year.
