Ancestry Working Group in All of Us
Genetic ancestry is a critical component of large-scale genotype-phenotype associations admixture has brought together genomes from continental populations that have diverged primarily because of genetic drift, but also because of different selective pressures. Accounting for genetic aancestry is critical for large-scale genotype-phenotype studies and for understanding genetic basis of disease. The Ancestry for All of Us (A4AoU) iaims to develop and deploy methods for ancestry infernnce of local and global ancestry in All of Us and other large-scale biobanks
