Grading Protocols
Grading protocols are developed for specific studies depending on the study goals. SIRC currently uses the following grading protocols:
AMD
The Complications of AMD Prevention Trial (CAPT) grading protocol quantifies drusen, changes in drusen over time, and describes exudation (late AMD). For a general overview of the CAPT grading protocol click here [PDF currently unavailable].
