Title: Beta-Cell Function and Glucagon-Like Peptide-1 in Pancreas and Kidney Transplantation
Sponsor: National Institutes of Health
Objectives: To determine the beta cell secretory capacity in pancreas and kidney transplant recipients and the effect of glucagon-like peptide-1 on beta cell function in recipients of a pancreas transplant.
Eligibility: The study is presently recruiting type 1 diabetic recipients of a combined pancreas and kidney transplant and non-diabetic recipients of a kidney transplant.
