Lily Wushanley, BS
Research Specialist
Lily studied Spanish Literature and Biology at Swarthmore College. After graduating, she worked as a medical scribe in Penn's Department of Ophthalmology, Scheie Eye Institute. She then joined the Lee Lab to study corneal epithelial wound healing after observing many corneal pathologies and surgeries as a medical scribe. Lily also worked closely with Dr. Hiroshi Maeno, a Senior Research Investigator in the Seykora Lab, on research examining tyrosine kinases and nuclear pore proteins in squamous cell carcinoma and aging skin. She is currently a medical student at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, Rutgers University, where in addition to studying, continues to run on the Schuylkill trail, listen to podcasts about exercise physiology, and weightlift in her home gym.
Robyn (Yerin) Kweon, BA
Robyn recently graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a double major in Biology and Fine Arts. Given her unique background, Robyn specializes in scientific imaging and figure illustration. In her free time, she loves painting, powerlifting, and photography.
