Jonathan Rumley
Genetics and Gene Regulation Graduate Student
Jonathan earned his bachelor of science in biology from Wingate University in Wingate, North Carolina in 2011. He earned his master of science in biology from Villanova University in Villanova, Pennsylvania in 2014. He joined the Murray lab as a PhD student in 2014. He studies the regulation of anterior genes, ref-2 in particular, in the early C. elegans embryo. He enjoys singing hymns and practicing Spanish with others.

Amanda is now an Assistant Professor and runs her own lab at Cincinnati Children’s. Her lab investigates how Wnt signaling regulates transcription and asymmetric cell divisions in C. elegans embryonic development. -

After leaving the Murray lab, Travis completed his PhD at Harvard Medical School in the laboratory of Dr. Jack W. Szostak studying RNA replication during the origin of life. He is currently pursuing structural biology in the laboratory of Dr. Alan Brown at Harvard Medical School.
