- Your device must be compatible with Windows 11. (See more)
- 9 GB of available storage.

- Go to https://helpdesk.pmacs.upenn.edu/ and login with your PMACS credentials.
- On the left navigation bar, click on ‘Downloads’, then ‘Install Windows 11 Installation Assistant'

- After a few minutes, you should see ‘Windows 11 Upgrade Assistant’ open on your PC. To proceed, click ‘Accept and Install’
- Once you accept, the installation process will begin. If you wish to run this upgrade overnight, you can lock the PC at this point and it will complete on its own.
- Once installation is complete, you will be prompted to reboot your device, to reboot immediately select ‘Restart Now’.
- The device will reboot (potentially multiple times). Please be patient, do not turn off the device at any point.
- Once completed, you will be brought to the Windows 11 login screen.
