Overview
Microsoft Copilot Chat is a full-range generative AI chat client, running on ChatGPT, that provides web search enhanced with generative AI to create novel content (text, images).
Eligibility
Microsoft Copilot Chat is available to anyone with a Penn Medicine or University Microsoft 365 account. More information on Penn and Penn Medicine email services is available here.
How do I Access this Service?
Microsoft Copilot chat can be found by logging into the Microsoft 365 website at https://portal.office.com/. Once you have logged on with your Penn Medicine or University credentials, you should look for the Apps button on the left side bar. Click on Apps, then look for the tile labeled Copilot.
Clicking Copilot will bring you to an interactive page where you can engage with Microsoft Copilot Chat. You can begin interacting with Microsoft Copilot Chat on this webpage.
Frequently Asked Questions
Microsoft Copilot Chat is approved for use with Low and Moderate Risk Data. Do not input sensitive data including HIPAA data, personal health information (PHI), financial account information, SSNs, and credit card data.
There is no additional charge over existing Microsoft 365 agreements*. Copilot Chat is self-service.
