RECOVER Program Clinical Care

The RECOVER Program offers clinical care across the timeline of recovery, including hospital care, post-acute care, and outpatient care. The RECOVER Program aims to deliver the highest quality of care to patients with disorders of consciousness, by providing specialized, comprehensive, and longitudinal care. Through specialization and collaboration with research, the RECOVER Program offers the latest in evidence-based techniques for detecting, predicting and promoting the recovery of consciousness. Comprehensive evaluations and management are provided through coordination of an interdisciplinary team, with combined expertise in the many complex features of brain injury. And by providing longitudinal care across the spectrum of recovery, the RECOVER Program offers unique expertise in the phases of brain injury recovery, while ensuring continuity and long-term support to patients and families.

To provide specialized, comprehensive and longitudinal care, the RECOVER program is comprised of a specialized consult service and interdisciplinary team conferences to support inpatient care, a transitional program to support post-acute care, and a clinic to support outpatient care to patients with or recovering from disorders of consciousness.
