The University of Pennsylvania Smell and Taste Center was founded by the National Institutes of Health in 1980, and receives competitive governmental funding for specific studies. Such monies cannot be used for pilot studies or unrelated projects.

That is why we initiated a fundraising campaign in the winter of 2010 to support research on treating smell and taste disorders. We seek your help in achieving our target goal of a $1,000,000 for a fund to be exclusively devoted to such research.

Your tax deductible contribution can be made by check or credit card. As a nonprofit medical research institution, private gifts to support our research endeavors are sorely needed.
