What is Cardio-Oncology?

Cardio-Oncology is an emerging field in cardiovascular medicine, developed in response to the growing need for clinicians with expertise in both cancer and cardiology. Dr. Bonnie Ky, MD, MSCE, Director of the Thalheimer Center for Cardio-Oncology, discusses the Cardio-Oncology program and how advances in her and her teams' research has made strides in improving the lives of cancer patients with cardiovascular complications.
