The Center for Human Appearance is unique. Founded in 1987 as the first and still the most comprehensive academically based center dedicated to the research and education of appearance related problems and quality of life.

Our team works together to address both the physical and psychological aspects of appearance. Our efforts include research and education in the areas of birth, traumatic and post tumor defects and cosmetic issues of the face, body and extremities.
