Now Hiring a Postdoctoral Fellow:
The Child/Adolescent OCD, Tic, Trichotillomania, and Anxiety Group (COTTAGe), Department of Psychiatry, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine seeks 1 candidate for a 2-year clinical postdoctoral position beginning in July 2018. The post-doctoral fellowship at COTTAGe provides an opportunity for intensive and specialized training in the assessment and treatment of pediatric OCD, tic disorders, trichotillomania, and anxiety. This experience allows fellows to receive supervised training, develop an expertise in cognitive-behavioral interventions, and advance to licensure.
Applicants must have completed an APA-approved internship and received their Ph.D. from an APA-accredited program. The successful applicant will have experience in the field of clinical psychology with a focus on child and adolescent anxiety and related disorders. Strong skills in evidence-based psychological assessments/treatments (e.g.,CBT), training in assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders in youth required.
Responsibilities will include carrying a caseload of both weekly outpatients (20 hours per week) and short-term intensive patients (1 per month), leading therapy groups, completing weekly intake evaluations, providing supervision to Master’s level trainees, participating in workshops and trainings offered by COTTAGe, and helping to run the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
