Program Events
Penn DDCRF Fellows have the opportunity to participate in many activites and events throughout the fellowship 
year including:
- Clinical Investigator Student Trainee Forum (CIST) at NIH
- Symposiums for fellow presentations
- National DDCRF Annual Meeting in spring
- Relevant research symposia, journal clubs, etc.
Didactic Training
Penn DDCRF Fellows take two courses offered through the Center for Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics (CCEB) and participate in a monthly journal club: 
- Fundamentals of Medical Research I: Epidemiologic Study Designs course
- Fundamentals of Biostatistics course
- Clinical Research Journal Club (monthly)
Advising
- Advising from research mentor (weekly meetings)
- Regular meetings with program advisor
