Connecting the Dots...
Join the Penn Udall Center for Parkinson's Research and the Parkinson's Disease and Movement Disorders Center on December 5th for an informative program on recent developments in research on Parkinson's disease (PD).
"Connecting the Dots...the Role of Research in Parkinson's Disease" will highlight the importance of participating in research to answer many of the questions surrounding PD such as the role of genetics and if we can alter the progression of PD. In addition, the importance of new drug development for motor and non-motor symptoms, surgical interventions and quality of life issues will be discussed.
Event Information
"Connecting the Dots" will be held on Friday, December 5th from 10am to 12noon in the Zubrow Auditorium, 8th and Spruce Streets, at Pennsylvania Hospital.
The event will feature:
- Amy Colcher, MD, Clinical Associate Professor of Neurology
- Andrew Siderowf, MD, Associate Professor of Neurology
- A representative from the Office of Human Subject Research from the University of Pennsylvania
- A panel of research participants
