Transition to eIRB
CT Center will be transitioning to an eIRB application system on September 21, 2026. This will enable improved integration with the current IRB application and will streamline protocol review. In preparation for the changeover, the current Redcap application will be discontinued on Wednesday September 16, 2026. Completed applications submitted before this date will be reviewed. Incomplete applications will need to be resubmitted in the new eIRB system when it goes live. No applications will be able to be submitted between Wednesday September 16 and Monday September 21.
The CT Center is a Radiology research core at the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine. Our mission is to provide imaging services, technical expertise, and regulatory guidance that empower investigators, clinicians, and collaborators to conduct high-quality, compliant, and innovative CT-based research.
