TITAN

The overarching goal of the project is to create a robust validated tractography that will address the issue of edema and mass effect that plague current surgical planning tools. In the process we are developing an edema invariant tractography paradigm that combines a multi-compartment HARDI model with anatomically and functionally constrained probabilistic fiber tracking. This will be evaluated for reliability and replicability using a software phantom, as well as validated using direct electrical stimulation and task-based fMRI.
