Research Summary

I am broadly interested in medical image analysis. My PhD research was on multi-material surface mesh generation and deformable surface meshes used for segmenting brain structures. I have also worked on MRI-based surgical planning for deep brain stimulation and functional connectivity in Parkinson's Disease patients treated with deep brain stimulation. My current research interests are in using machine learning/deep learning methodologies for identifying and detecting pathologies in the brain.
