Our Name Has Changed: Introducing The Society for Penn Clinical Research Professionals

Clinical research at Penn is driven by a unique and diverse community of research professionals from many career paths and backgrounds. We aim to refine this professional society to advocate for all clinical research professionals and provide useful resources and networking opportunities. In February 2024, the Executive Board voted to change the name of the Society for Clinical Research Coordination and Management (SCRCM) to the Society for Penn Clinical Research Professionals (SPCRP).  By changing our name, we hope to welcome all clinical research professionals across the University of Pennsylvania's research community to participate with our organization.
