Neurons R Us (NRU) is a service center provided by the Penn Medicine Translational Neuroscience Center (PTNC) at the University of Pennsylvania. The NRU has been supplying neurons for research to the Penn community for over 25 years.

Due to the upcoming holidays, please note the following important dates for the NRU Core:

Final pickup days for this year will be Dec 18 (mouse) and Dec 19 (rat).

In the new year, the Core will be open again the week of January 9, 2024. Due to the upcoming holiday recess and a shift in ULAR's ordering schedule, all orders for the weeks of January 8 and 15, 2024 must be placed by Monday, December 18th at noon. Please get your orders in as soon as possible and before noon on Monday to ensure that we can fill your order for the new year.

Please note that the Core will also be closed for MLK Day, a recognized University holiday, on Monday, January 15.
