Eligibility
Process
Students are supported in Year 2 and 3 of training.
New trainees are selected each March by a competitive process assessing academic and research accomplishments. An email announcement soliciting applications is sent to all eligible Pharmacology Graduate Group members.
Applicants must be members of the Pharmacology Graduate Group. However, for an applicant to be considered for a position, their academic record should include:
- Coursework in Pharmacology (PHRM 6230, PHRM6000, PHRM5320)
- Coursework in statistics
- All T32 trainees must be U.S. citizens or green card holders
Responsibilities of Trainees
- Attending and presenting a poster at the Annual Student Symposium
- Serving as Journal Club discussion leaders in Year 2 of training
- Preparing an Individual Development Plan (IDP) in conjunction with your PI every year of training
