Paul is a MD/PhD student enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. His research interests are in the fields of DNA damage/repair, chromatin organization, and epigenetic memory. My PhD project is investigating the mechanisms of how polycomb group proteins (PcG) influence hemoglobin switching.

Eleanor is a PhD student in the CAMB Genetics & Epigenetics graduate program at Penn. They completed their undergraduate degree in 2022 at Washington University in St. Louis with a major in Biology and a minor in Anthropology. In the Paralkar lab, Eleanor is characterizing the role of RNA Polymerase I and rRNA transcription in normal and malignant hematopoiesis. Outside of lab, Eleanor likes to go to vintage and antique shops, watch Philly sports, and spend time with friends.

Bobba works in the laboratory of Dr. Shabaana Khader with interests in immunology, infectious diseases, and hematopoiesis. Investigating how drug-resistant Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) drives differential host immune responses as compared to drug-sensitive Mtb strains.
