At the 2024 American College of Surgeons Clinical Congress, Nate McLauchlan (PSOM 2024) was selected for an Owen H. Wangensteen Scientific Forum Award for excellence in trauma/burn/critical care research for his work under the mentorship of Dr. Jeremy Cannon.

He will be an invited attendee at the 2025 ECTES in Aachen, Germany.
