Community Outreach
BGS students actively participate in a variety of community outreach activities, either through student-led organizations or in other ways. Two programs that many BGS students participate in each year are:
The BGS office works with graduate student groups to organize an annual community engagement event. In 2018, BGS organized a half-day workshop entitled Community Engagement as a Professional Skill, which was attended by approximately 100 students, as well as postdocs and faculty.
